SASO Water Efficiency Labelling Requirements for Saudi Arabia
Since January 1, 2018, the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization (SASO) has enforced Water Efficiency Regulations requiring faucets, showers, toilets, and similar sanitary products to meet specific water consumption standards. Under this program, manufacturers, importers, exporters, and freight forwarders must ensure that applicable products carry a SASO Water Efficiency Label before shipment. This labelling is mandatory to clear Saudi Customs and legally enter the Kingdom's market.

To comply with Saudi Arabia’s Water Efficiency Labelling Program, applicable sanitary products and water flow control equipment must undergo testing by a SASO-approved laboratory in accordance with relevant SASO standards.
