G-Mark Certification for Toys and Electricals In Saudi Arabia
The Gulf Conformity Mark (G-Mark) is a critical certification that confirms a product’s compliance with the safety, quality, and performance standards set by the Gulf Standardization Organization (GSO). It is a mandatory requirement for products to be legally sold across GCC member states, and serves as an assurance to consumers and authorities alike that the product has met all relevant technical regulations.
Initially introduced for toys on January 1, 2014, the G-Mark program was expanded in July 2016 to cover a broad category of electrical appliances under the Low Voltage Technical Regulation (BD142004-01). Today, the G-Mark is essential for household appliances entering the Gulf market, and must be affixed to the product and/or its packaging to confirm its conformity.

The GCTS must be affixed to all applicable products exported to GSO member states, including the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, and Yemen.
